Bath UCU Casework Support

UCU primarily defends the interests of our members through collective bargaining, negotiations and campaigns. If you would like support to run a campaign, or want the branch or national union to collectively negotiate on an issue, contact the Branch Secretary (ucu-sec@bath.ac.uk).

UCU also support members who need individual support, advice and representation in disciplinary processes, grievances and other work-related matters. If you have an individual problem at work, read this basic advice first.

Our branch has a casework team that is supported by the UCU regional office. Please be aware that individual casework support can only be provided to current members of UCU who:

  • have membership subscriptions that are up to date with membership subscriptions that reflect current salary
  • joined UCU before their problem arose

UCU’s trained reps are only indemnified to offer advice to members on accurate membership rates. You can check your UCU membership details here.

Once you have read all the advice above, please fill in this form, and send it to our Branch Casework Coordinator (ucu-casework@bath.ac.uk).
