A call for solidarity with those participating in the Marking and Assessment Boycott

As UCU members at the University of Bath and around the country begin a Marking and Assessment Boycott, we are asking all Bath UCU members and non-members to commit to contributing your May 1st International Worker’s Day pay (calculated as 1/365 of your annual salary) to our local fighting fund, to help support and sustain those facing high levels of continuous wage deduction for participation in the boycott.

We understand that the cost of living crisis creates extremely tight financial situations for many and therefore welcome a contribution of any amount – under or above your May 1st pay packet.

You can make your commitment to undertake this action by signing this open letter.

Solidarity between colleagues is vital and we appreciate your support.
