In October 2025, the branch passed a motion resolving that the UCU committee should “respond positively to reasonable requests from another UCU branch for financial support, donating a standard amount of £500 and sending a message of solidarity to the branch”, and for the Branch Secretary to “keep the branch website updated with details of the requests we have received and responded to and to publicise any updates from branches that we support”.
